Travel Blog: No Zombies in Zagreb

Yes my dear readers, it’s Death Tourism Day here in Zagreb. In a bit I’ll tell you about the title of this post (as soon as the images upload heh). In the meantime, if you haven’t guessed already I went to visit a cemetery. It made me hope that I’m loved enough that someone erects a marble monument to mark the place where my body rests when I go back the dust from which I was made. Actually, I don’t even want my body there polluting the water supply. I’d much rather be cremated so that I can more readily be used to build some new life faster.…

Travel Blog: Zagreb Day 2

Day two of being in Zagreb was cool and eventful but yet, uneventful. The day started fairly early (for me) and I headed toward the center on foot from my host (Tomislav)’s place. That allowed me to snap a few quick photos of things as I went. Along the way I contemplated whether or not the Croats actually look people in the eye as they pass. I found that with sunglasses people don’t look at you but without it’s about 75% of the time. Of course my wearing a straw cowboy hat could have something to do with people looking. …
