Journalists, American Politicians Call for Assassination of Julian Asange, WTF

It seems that America is completely rotten from the inside out with journalists, American politicians and even Sarah Palin calling for the illegal seizure and death of Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks.

What the hell is wrong with you people? What do you all have to hide that you so fear the truth? Not to mention, support the illegal seizure and death of a citizen of the world, not even a citizen of your own country. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

“We should treat Mr Assange the same way as other high-value terrorist targets: Kill him,” writes conservative columnist Jeffrey T Kuhner in the Washington Times.

To Mr. Kuhner – As a journalist, wishing the death of another journalist is both hypocritical and extremely dangerous. What if others were to call for your blood as well?

William Kristol, former chief of staff to vice president Dan Quayle, asks, “Why can’t we use our various assets to harass, snatch or neutralize Julian Assange and his collaborators, wherever they are?”

Harass, snatch or neutralize? Wherever they are? How many international laws would that break not to mention the numerous civil liberties of the person in question.

“Why isn’t Julian Assange dead?” writes the prominent US pundit Jonah Goldberg.

Mr. Goldberg, are you implying that you have hired someone to kill him already and are wondering aloud why it has not yet been accomplished? That is what it looks like. You should choose your words more carefully or you could be arrested for conspiracy to murder if Mr. Assange does show up dead.

“The CIA should have already killed Julian Assange,” says John Hawkins on the Right Wing News site.

Yes, because that is what America is all about, the killing of all those who oppose us. Someone else had that same policy, his name was Hitler.

Sarah Palin, a likely presidential candidate, compares Assange to an Al Qaeda leader…

Is the FBI still investigating this woman? If not, perhaps they should be…

Rick Santorum, former Pennsylvania senator and potential presidential contender, accuses Assange of “terrorism”.

If he becomes a presidential candidate then his entire life needs to opened to the extreme scrutiny of the public eye. After all, he is attempting to become the leader of the country, sit in the highest seat in the house, every dark nook and cranny in his heretofore apparently uninteresting life needs to be brought out in front of the people so that we can clearly see what type of person he truly is.

The US might decide to charge him with sedition – historically a charge laid at the whim of English kings – which is a political ‘offence’ not used in the USA for half a century and one formally and officially discredited in Australia by a change of legislation in 2010.

I wonder if someone will yell OFF WITH HIS HEAD! during the proceedings. It would seem fitting, or perhaps BURN HIM AT THE STAKE! which would work well in this sort of witch hunt also.

I am reminded of that saying about glass houses and stones…it seems to me like we need to take action to prevent the infringing of Mr. Assange’s human rights.
