Travel Blog: Budva Day 2

The next day saw the usual comings and goings of the hostel but for the most part everyone stayed. So it was decided that we’d all head for Mogren beach.

It’s a pseudo-private beach that you need to pay 1 euro to get onto but it was more than worth it as we got to head all the way to the end and climb up some rocks from where we could jump into the water. The 6 meter rock was the most popular with only one person (Eric from New York) doing the 18 meter one and even he said ‘I’m tasting my nuts after that’ which didn’t really make anyone else take that plunge.

After the beach and the rock jumping we thought a barbecue would be in order and so started making plans and getting the fixings for that. Several kilos of meat and veg later and we were sufficiently full and it was time to head out. Again the troops were rallied and we sallied forth into the night.

That night was once again uneventful for the most part and I think it’s all starting to sound redundant.

It’s almost six weeks of travel now on the books and I’m getting tired. Prague is calling me home and I’m ready to dive willingly into her warm embrace once again. But first there is the matter of Budva Day 3…
